I don't want this to be taken as a rant, because it's not. Maybe an eye-roll. And I don't want to pick on Rick because we all do this, but yesterday the draft was stopped for a while waiting for him to pick. And with all the extra time he took, I expected to see the next Roy Hobbs. Instead he took the one and only Carmen Fanzone. What a let-down, kind of like watching Geraldo open Al Capone's vaults.

Anyway, I'll shut-up now. Sorry Rick. sorry for any delay - I was enjoying that day in the GI lab getting my 55,000 mile colonoscopy.......anyway, whose to say Fanzone will not BE the next Roy Hobbs? I suspect that he will now only get favorable rolls for the entire 1973 season (It could happen!) |
