Attached is the 1954 draft pool PRE-KEEPERS! Remember, we are cutting at least 120 players that will be added to this spreadsheet ;-) Keepers are due Sunday May 26! Draft Order: 1) Beaumont 2) Indianapolis 3) Louisville 4) Kansas City 5) Charleston 6) Chattanooga 7) Denver 8) Hollywood 9) New Orleans 10) Eau Claire 11) Amarillo 12) Toledo Here's a link to the league trades, there are a number that will affect the draft. latorrer0.tripod.com/sombb/1950kp/draft.htmlAccording to my notes the only picks traded so far are Denver 3rd round for Hollywood 1st round, Charleston 1st round to Indianapolis. I am shooting to have the final draft pool by Sunday night. Attachments:

In a two part trade,
Part 1 before keepers - the Denver Bears trade Pillette to the Charleston Senators for their 1954 3rd round pick.
Part 2 after keepers - the Denver Bears trade their 1954 last pick to the Charleston Senators for Cass Michaels.

PLEASE VERIFY THAT YOUR KEEPERS ARE CORRECT! I've been known to make a mistake or two ;-) Also, take note that there are TWO Bob Miller's in this years pool. A LHP and a RHP. I've also set up strat draft with all of the traded picks, please let me know if that looks OK as well. Attachments:

Rob,
I don't see any of the players that I named as keepers in the draft pool, so I guess that means it is correct for the Indians. Thanks.

I don't see any of the Amarillo keepers in the pool. But stratdraft needs to be updated to give the Amarillo 2nd round pick to Indianapolis.

Chuck and I made a trade yesterday. It doesn't affect this year's draft or anything but here it is:
He gets (KCB): 1st round pick 1955 1st round pick 1958 2nd round pick 1956
I get (BEX): Robin Roberts 3rd round pick 1956
Paul Beaumont
(edit from Rob) - guys, I did not see any mention of keeper lists being changed on this, so I am treating it as a trade after keepers were set. No real affect on anything. If this is incorrect please let me know.

Hi guys,
Just wondering about thoughts on the Roberts trade. I had to look at improving going forward, so thought he'd be the best "bait" to throw out there. Thanks for input from all who worked on deals. I find it very challenging evaluating the worth of future picks - we'll see how this works out for the Blues......
