Highlights: Winnipeg goes 8-2 in their last 10 and opens up a 4 game lead in the West. The Whips have a great combination of hitting and pitching with Hank Aaron and Dick Allen in the top 5 in HRs, Clyde Wright and Jim Perry tied for the most wins with 13, Darold Knowles putting out the most fires with 15 saves. Starting pitching, power at the plate, and a solid closer, a tough combination to beat. Louisville's Willie Davis became the 2nd player to steal 4 bases in a game on 6/14, with 4 against Hawaii in a 10-6 win. Davis scored 4 times in the game and was almost matched by his teammate Joe Morgan who stole 3 bases in the game as well. Islander catcher Duane Josephson (+2 arm) definitely had a tough day behind the plate. Gullet carried a no hitter into the 8th, when Hal McRae ripped a double of the left center field wall to end the bid.
