: With 3 weeks remaining, it looks like it's all over but the shouting for 2 of the 3 divisions, Louisville has clinched the South, and their magic number is 4 to clinch the home field throughout the post season. Still a great race for the final wild card spot, 6 teams separated by 2.5 games. Louisville's Jeff Burroughs drove in 14 runs this week to take the lead league from Syracuse's Willie Stargell, 128 to 124. Hawaii's Ollie Brown collected 6 hits against Louisville on 9/6 in a 19-9 loss. Brown was 6 for 6 on the day with 2 RS and 4 RBI in the blowout loss. Joe Morgan picked up 7 more stolen bases this week for Louisville, reaching 101 on the season and stamping his 100/100/100/100 season. New Orleans' Ken Griffey and Charleston's Bob Montgomery are having a terrific battle for the batting title, Griffey is hitting .350, .002 ahead of Montgomery.
