Eau Claire Bears rookie Eddie Mathews had a powerful stretch with 6 HR in his last 10 games to take the HR lead by one over Louisville Colonels Gil Hodges. Kansas City Blues Bob Lemon continues to dominate on the mound. Lemon has a 1.46 ERA in 148 IP (allowing 80 H) and a WHIP of 0.93.
