Why? Says he, after losing 8 in a row...

Why? Says he, after losing 8 in a row... No worries Terry, I have assumed my role of cellar dweller once again!!!

Great race in the middle of the pack, with 6 teams at either 27 or 28 wins!

Great race in the middle of the pack, with 6 teams at either 27 or 28 wins! Yep, pretty evenly matched, once you exclude the outlier at the bottom of the standings. HOW CAN MY TEAM BE THAT BAD?

All-Star game this week. Three days off will help everyone.
How does everyone like the new schedule? The off days are nice and this 3 days break will let players rest a bit.

As the season moves into August, it's apparent this is a year of the "have's" and "have-nots" -- congrats to the guys who are leading the way this year!
For the rest of us, we need to have simpler goals now, like beating Charleston.
If you're playoff-bound and need a little boost,, I have a couple of guys who could be made available for decent draft picks... - Ferris Fain, the walking man, at 1B - Pee Wee Reese, a great-fielding SS

Schedule still a bit strange -- but at least this time, it's in our favor, as we get to play 7 in a row against Charleston!

Ernie Banks for MVP! Breaks Babe Ruth's home run record in his second season in the majors! Indianapolis needed every hit because every pitcher on the Indianapolis roster under-performed his actual 1955 statistics! Remarkable! Even is Indy goes very far in the playoffs, I think they will be looking for a new pitching coach!

The Stars' only claim to fame is that at least we beat Charleston

I save my best 10 game stretch of the season for the last 10 games to drop my draft position from 1 to 3! That sounds about right.
