NEW ORLEANS PELICANS keepers:
Pitchers (5) Johnny Antonelli Bob Purkey Duke Maas Jack Meyer Clem Labine
Hitters (so to speak) (10) Bob Nieman Bob Skinner Walt Moryn Bob Bowman Larry Doby Gene Woodling Bob Boyd Red Wilson Nellie Fox Whitey Herzog
We part ways with Alvin Dark after 8 seasons. If I can't lead the standings, I'll lead the league in Bob's again...and maybe Nellie's and Whitey's?

Updated after the Musial trade. I can't believe I originally left Sanford off of my Keeper list.

Hi guys - here's a basic question. If I have an outfielder who's rated as a 4 in left and not rated in right, does he become a 5 if I play him in rf? Is it "ethical" to put him in rf as a starter? I don't want to push this envelope very far - just want to know if it's acceptable. Thanks, and good luck to all in '58!
Chuck

Chuck,
As far as I am concerned, play him at a 5. That is my understanding of the way the rules are written.

Totally acceptable, stated in the CDROM and Cards and Dice rules.
