Based on the survey results and all of the great feedback, the following will be the structure for the 1960s Keeper League:
League Structure:
- Championship will be decided by total points accumulated over all 10 seasons. 1 point for each win, 5 points for making the playoffs, 5 additional points for making the finals, and 10 additional points for winning the finals.
- Each night will be 1 week of the season. 154 Games.
- Fatigue rules will be used for pitchers (i.e. SP* and RP fatigue)
- No DH, Pitchers will hit using the 1-8 hitting cards.
- 1 Division of 12 teams.
- Playoffs are 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. Best of 7. All teams will be reset to full rest before the playoff rounds begin (including clearing all injuries).
- 154 game balanced schedule (14 games vs each team)
- Tie breakers for playoff seeding and draft seeding will be determined based on head to head records between the tied teams.
- If a tie breaker will result in the elimination of a team from the playoffs, a 1 game playoff will break the tie instead of head to head records. The team with the better head to head record will be the home team in the 1 game playoff. This game will be considered a "regular season" game, fatigue and injuries from the season will remain in place.
- Players that play for multiple teams in one year in the same league are carded once by SOM, we will use the full year card for that type of player. Players that play for multiple teams in one year in both leagues are carded for each team by SOM (no full season card), we will use the card with the most ABs/IPs for that player from a single team.
- Manager settings will be due by 5PM for that evenings games.
- Unique Stadiums (each stadium can only be used by one team)
- Stadiums will be kept for all 10 seasons and will use the settings for each specific season
- NO usage limitations for eligible ABs or IPs.
