All teams will be on full rest, all injuries will be cleared. ALSO sometimes HAL does weird things with rest for SP's so if you want to send me per game starters, I will set them up for you.

Semifinal Games 1 and 2Standings - latorrer0.tripod.com/sombb/1960kp/1960ps/standings1.htmlHighlights: Toledo vs. Portland - TOL leads 2-0 Toledo takes a 2-0 series lead with dominating starting pitching from Vern Law and Pedro Ramos. Law led the Hens to a 1-0 victory in game 1 spinning a 5 hit complete game shutout. The only run of the game was scored on a Johnny Callison sacrifice fly, driving in Gene Freese who had led off the inning with a triple. Law had 5 strikeouts and 0 walks in the win. Ramos also pitched a strong game in the 2nd contest of the series, taking advantage of an early 3 run lead and spreading out 4 hits and 2 walks over the 9 inning performance. The Beavers plated their only run in the 5th on an RBI single by Richie Ashburn. Toledo got an RBI and RS each from Callison and Ramos, in the 3-1 final. Portland suffered two injuries, losing catcher Joe Pignitano for the remainder of the playoffs and Hal Naragon for 2 more games. The Beavers have a tough road ahead of them. Denver vs. Montreal - series tied 1-1 Game 1 of the Bears / Royals matchup proved to be a close game, with the difference being a 4 run 5th inning by the hometown Bears. Montreal took a 3-1 lead into the 5th when Denver mounted a 4 run rally on 3 hits, a BB, an error, and a sacrifice fly. Once the lead was sdet, Denver went to their bullpen and sealed the win with holds from Bill Henry and Joe Shaffernoth and a save from Turk Farrell. The Royals had plenty of opportunities against Denver starter Lew Burdette, but stranded 8 before the reliving corp took over. Montreal didn't make the same mistake in game 2, scoring 12 runs in a lopsided 12-5 win. Montreal put the game out of the reach with a 7 run 9th inning, highlighted by a grand slam by Ted Williams. 3B Don Hoak also had 3 RBI for the Royals, giving them home field advantage heading back to Montreal. Semifinal Games 3, 4 and 5Standings - latorrer0.tripod.com/sombb/1960kp/1960ps/standings1.htmlHighlights: Toledo vs. Portland - TOL leads 3-2 Terrific pitching remains the common theme in the Hens/Beavers match-up, with the teams combining for a total of 19 runs in 5 games. The Beavers were able to rally in games 3 and 4 to even the series with a pair of wins. Game 3 was a surprising 3-0 victory for Portland, with the Hens Juan Marichal tossing a 1-hitter. Toledo committed 3 errors in the game, all leading to runs for Portland. Game 4 matched up game 1 starters Vern Law and Bob Friend in a tightly contested duel. They matched their 1-0 game 1 performances, this time with Friend getting the upper hand thanks to a complete game 1 run victory. Toledo's fielding let them down again in game 4, with 2 of the 3 runs allowed by Law ending up unearned. Friend helped his own cause, driving in the 3rd run of the game for the Beavers. Game 5 was filled with excitement as both teams gave it their all to take the series lead, and it took extra innings to determine the winner. The teams went into the 10th inning tied 3-3 when the Hens rallied to plate the go ahead run. Vada Pinson led off with a single and then swiped second base, Minnie Minoso advanced him to 3rd on a base hit, and then Roy Sievers lined a double in the gap to score Pinson. Portland's Gerry Staley came in from the pen and shut down Toledo to keep the game in reach. In the bottom of the inning, Whitey Herzog, Eddie Yost, and Bill Skowron loaded the bases with 1 out to set the table for Pumpsie Green. Green couldn't deliver in the clutch, grounding out into a game ending home to 1st double play. Denver vs. Montreal - DEN leads 3-2 Denver promptly took home field advantage back from Montreal in game 3, with a decisive 4-2 win. The Bears jumped out to a 4 run lead early in the game thanks to a 2 run HR by Jim Gentile and held the Royals scoreless into the 9th inning. Montreal tried to mount a late rally, getting a 2 run blast from Roger Maris in the 9th, but fell short leaving runners on 1st and 2nd with the final out was squeezed. The Bears extended the series lead in game 4, in dramatic fashion, squandering a 3 run 9th inning lead. The Bears scored in bunches on HRs by Mickey Mantle and Dick Williams who combined for 3 HRs, 5 RBI and 3 RS. The Royals weren't ready to go quietly though and rallied in the 9th for 2 runs only to come up empty by a single run. Facing elimination in game 5, Montreal struck quickly and often in a game that was over just after it started. The Royals Willie McCovey and Ted Williams each blasted 2 HRs and combined for 6 RBI in the 7-0 victory. Ernie Broglio pitched a dominating 2 hitter for a complete game shutout win. The Hens scored 4 times in the bottom of the opening inning, thanks to 2 errors by Portland, putting the game out of reach early. Toledo got 2 RBIs each from the 2-3-4 hitters Vada Pinson, Minnie Minoso and Roy Sievers, which was more than enough offense for Johnny Podres and his 8 K, 5 H complete game outing. Denver vs. Montreal - DEN wins 4-2 In game 6, Montreal had high hopes of forcing a game 7, building a 4-2 lead after 7 1/2 innings. The Royal's Lindy McDaniel spread out 5 hits over 6 innings and kept the Bears in check, supported at the plate by Roger Maris' 4 RBI. Everything changed in the bottom of the 8th, with the Bears waking up at the dish. Denver scored 5 runs, fueled by 4 base hits, a walk, and 2 errors, going station to station with at least 2 runners on base for 8 consecutive at bats. The Bears posted a solid 5-0 victory over the Hens to take a 1-0 series lead, but in the process lost Stan Musial on a ground out in the 8th inning for the rest of the post season. Denver's offense centered in the bats of Smoky Burgess and Bill Mazeroski who paired to homer in all 5 runs in the game. Lew Burdette pitched 7 2/3 shutout innings for the Bears in the win. Game 2 was more closely contested as the Hens Pedro Ramos picked up his 3rd win of the post season in a 4-2 Toledo win. Denver got out to an early lead in the top of the first on RBI singles by Jim Gentile and Dick Williams. Ramos shut the door after that keeping the game close waiting for the Hens offense to show up. The Toledo bats finally arrived in the bottom of the 4th thanks to a 2 run HR by Vada Pinson and an RBI single by Gene Freese. Those 3 runs were enough for Ramos and the Hens to even the series at 1-1. The Hens had a 4-0 lead after 7 but the Bears rallied in the bottom of the 8th on HRs by Mickey Mantle and Wally Moon to tie the game. The Bears ended the game in the bottom of the 10th on another blast, this time by Tony Kubek. The Hens missed a number of chances in the game, stranding 10 base-runners in the loss. Denver jumped out to an early lead in game 4, posting a 5-1 lead in the bottom of the 2nd. The Bears offense was built on HRs by Bill Mazeroski and Mel Roach, and 3 RBI by Dick Williams, and was plenty for Lew Burdette to secure a 3-1 series lead for Denver. The win was Burdette's 4th of the post season, helped by Turk Farrell's 4th save of the post season. Toledo came to play in game 5, facing elimination, scoring a decisive 9-2 victory. The Hens had a total team effort at the plate with 7 different batters driving in runs and 6 different runners crossing the plate. SP Pedro Ramos scattered 9 hits over 9 innings and recorded his 4th victory of the playoffs, keeping the Hens alive and earning them a trip back to Toledo for game 6.
