Seeds decided on both division by a tiebreaker game! North - (1) Vancouver vs (2) Montreal South - (1) Hawaii vs (2) Louisville
All teams will be on full rest, all injuries will be cleared. ALSO sometimes HAL does weird things with rest for SP's so if you want to send me per game starters, I will set them up for you.

In game 1, Vancouver took a 5-3 lead into the 8th inning, only to watch the Royals rally for 4 runs in the 8th and a security run in the 9th. The big hits coming in the 8th for the Royals on back to back extra base hits from Ted Savage and Rusty Staub. Game two was an equally disappointing loss for the Mounties thanks to a 9th inning rally to break open a 0-0 pitchers duel. Frank Howard delivered the game winning hit, a 3 run HR to seal the victory for Montreal. The Mounties closer Jack Lamabe took the loss in both games for Vancouver. Louisville vs. Hawaii - LOU leads 2-0 Louisville followed Montreal's lead in the South semifinals, sweeping the Islanders to erase the Hawaii's home field advantage. Both games were closely contested, with the scores of 3-1 and 5-2. Louisville grabbed an early lead in game 1 off of the bats of Joe Morgan, Jim Northrup and Carl Yastrzemski's hits in the 2nd inning. The 2 runs were enough for starting pitcher Cisco Carlos and his complete game 3 hitter. Hawaii struck early in game 2 and posted a 2-1 1st inning lead thanks to an Al Kaline 2 run HR. Those 2 runs were all that Colonels starter Dick Hughes would end up allowing, giving the Louisville offense time to climb back into the game with runs in the 7th and 8th innings to complete the sweep. The game winning runs came off of the bat of Brooks Robinson, a 3 run HR in the 8th. Semifinals Games 3 and 4Standings - latorrer0.tripod.com/sombb/1960kp/1967ps/standings1.htmlHighlights: Montreal vs. Vancouver – MON wins 4-0 Montreal gets two more outstanding pitching performances, recording shutouts in games 3 and 4 to complete the sweep of Vancouver in the North semis. Steve Carlton spun a 3 hit gem in game 3, earning a 1-0 complete game victory, with the only run of the game coming off of the bat of Doug Rader's 7th inning sacrifice fly. Game 4 was over before it started, the Royals jumped out to a lead in first and added 8 more over the rest of the game in a 9-0 win. Vancouver had opportunities but was unable to deliver against the clutch pitching of Mike McCormick. McCormick spread out 10 hits and the Mounties left 12 runners on base in the game. Louisville vs. Hawaii - LOU wins 4-0 Louisville closed out the South series in 4 games as well, sweeping Hawaii with back to back 5-1 wins. Game 3 was led by Mel Queen on the mound for the Colonels, allowing a single run in the 2nd and then shutting down the Islanders the rest of the way. All 5 of the Colonels runs came in the bottom of the 5th from a rally that included 2 walks and 4 hits, closed out on a 2 run double from Tony Oliva. In the series clinching game, Louisville scored 4 runs over the first 3 innings and built a lead that wouldn't be surrendered. The runs were plenty for starting pitcher Jim Lonborg who pitched complete game 7 hitter for the Colonels. In game 1, Montreal took a 2-1 lead into the 8th inning and pushed to open up the lead, scoring 2 runs on a HR by Ron Hunt. The Colonels responded in the bottom of the inning, matching the 2 runs with solo HRs from Joe Morgan and Carl Yastrzemski. Royals closer Ted Abernathy was left in the game and was able to lock down Louisville in the 9th to hang on to the opening game victory. Game 2 went to the final at bat. Louisville struck first in the opening stanza, taking a 2-0 lead on 4 singles and 2 stolen bases to give starting pitcher Dick Hughes an early cushion. Hughes was able to hold onto that lead until the 7th inning, when the Royals rallied for 3 runs on a HR by Doug Rader and a 2 RBI double by Rusty Staub. The Colonels turned the momentum back in their direction in the 8th scoring the game tying run, a single off of the bat of Brooks Robinson. Then in the bottom of the 9th, Robinson's number would be called again, following a 2 out single by Tommie Agee and walk by Yastrzemski, Robinson delivered the game winning run with a double in the gap. World Series Games 3, 4, and 5Standings - latorrer0.tripod.com/sombb/1960kp/1967ps/standings1.htmlHighlights: Montreal vs. Louisville – MON wins 4-1 Montreal comes home and closes out the series with a 3 game sweep. the Royals never trailed in games 3 and 4, 3-2 and 5-1 victories respectively. Mike McCormick pitched 8 strong innings for the win in game 3, getting offensive support from Willie McCovey's 2 HRs, 4 RBI and 3 RS. Game 4 was tied at 2 going into the 8th inning in a well pitched contest between Mel Queen and Steve Carlton. The Royals pushed the winning run across the plate in the 8th on a 2 out single by Jimmy Wynn. Ted Abernathy picked up the win with 3 innings of no hit relief. Game 5 proved to have an ending for the history books, ending with a walk-off pinch hit grand slam HR from a backup catcher with limited power. With the score knotted at 4 in the bottom of the 11th, the Royals loaded the bases against a fatigued Cisco Carlos (10 1/3 IP, 6 H, 12 K), and with 2 outs part time light hitting catcher Buck Rodgers (1 HR in 139 ABS in the regular season) delivered the long ball (HR 1-3, FlyB 4-20, rolling a 1) to write an ending for the history books.
