I think we need to find a way to shorten the time between seasons. At our current pace of 8-9, going on 10) weeks per season we are looking at an additional 18-20 months to get through 1959. I am not sure what the answer is, but there are a bunch of smart guys here you may have some suggestions. Even cutting a week save almost 2 months!
Rob, I know a lot of the work falls on you, so maybe it is just wishful thinking and cannot be done. The 154 games play out over 3 weeks (22 days + any rain delays). Playoffs a week or so, draft prep a week, draft a week, league prep a week. Maybe we are already on the minimum timeline.
Can any of your prep work be spread out? I am willing to help in any way I can.

It can be tightened up. 1) We can ask for keepers to be finalized by the end of the regular season. 2) The draft can start the day after the world series is over, that should give me time to get the draft site and spreadsheet ready. We draft quickly I think, so maybe implementing the two ideas can keep the momentum going. I am happy to go with the consensus on these. Rob

Attached is the manager report for each of you to double check. Targeting an 11PM opening pitch as long as I don't pass out on the couch LOL, my wife is into reality TV and it just puts me to sleep... The file can be opened with Notepad. Attachments:

Nothing like jumping right into the season with a 20-inning game! Maybe over lunch time I'll do some research into the longest opening day game in MLB history.

Pitching statistics for the Stars are flawed. After 6 games, the individual pitcher entries add up to 2 wins and 2 losses in 5 starts...
