Tommy Glaviano as pinch hitter extraordinaire... First 3 at bats were HR, 3B, and 2B

Pitching statistics for the Stars are flawed. After 6 games, the individual pitcher entries add up to 2 wins and 2 losses in 5 starts... Yep, Garver and Mizell both pitched .1 IP and got losses, I must have a rounding error in the stat package. Will look at it tonight. Rob

Mud Hens are giving up tons of runs....this is unexpected as I thought pitching was our strength

I would be interested in any comments that you guys might have on this. I am confused as to why HAL is using my setup men as closers and leaving my closers out of the game. I have set up my manager settings as
Setup vs lefty - Cliff Chambers Setup vs Righty - Bobo Newsom Closer vs lefty - Chuck Stobbs Closer vs Righty - Ellis Kinder
I have also set the following
Cliff Chambers - Quick hook Bobo Newsom - Avoid LH, Quick hook Chuck Stobbs - Quick hook Ellis Kinder - none
But I have come to the end of several games and neither Chuck Stobbs nor Ellis Kinder are used even though they haven't pitched in a couple of days and are not injured. Examples:
5/25 - After pulling Stobbs, it put in Gumpert instead of Kinder. Kinder wasn't fatigued or injured 5/28 - Kinder pitched the 8th inning, but then was relieved by Newsom to start the 9th. Really? 5/30 - Gumpert pitched the 9th and got the save. Stobbs and Kinder were not used, were not fatigued, and were not injured. 5/31 - Newsom pitched the 9th and got the save. Stobbs and Kinder were not used, were not fatigued, and were not injured. 6/5 - Chambers pitched the last 1 1/3 in to pick up the save. Stobbs and Kinder were not used, were not fatigued, and were not injured. 6/6 - Chambers pitched the last 2 2/3 in (and picked up the loss) even though I have his setting on Quick hook. Kinder and Stobbs were not used.
I am not sure what I could have done in my manager settings to cause HAL to operator like this, but if anyone has any ideas or comments, I would really appreciate hearing them. This has cost me a few games this year and I would like to get it straightened out, if not for this year, then so that I can have a better chance at getting HAL to manage like I want next year.
Thanks,
John O'Neal

I thought my teams strength was pitching, and it is, but the rest of the teams pitchers are even better. The Senators starters are amazing in ERA and WHIP. I think I need a slugger.

I was feeling good about '52, hopefully my pitching will hold up. Most of my players are over-performing their real life numbers so far though, which is good and bad LOL

Mud Hens are starting the 21 game road trip to finish the season. The circus is in town and Mud Hen management thought they'd be a better draw.
It is hard to make a payoff run in the road for three weeks.
Crazy schedule. Last season when my team ruled the road it was a god thing and put me in the playoffs, this year, not such a goodnthing
